Charity Walk Raises €17,000
The recent Charity Fun Walk organised by the Carrigaline & District Lions club has raised a total of €17,000 which is going to benefit a number of charities.
Beneficiaries include Crosshaven Youth Club, Crosshaven Development Walk Committee, Carrigaline Lions Club Amenity Walk Fund and the Hope Foundation Calcutta Project. €1,600 is also being given the Lions International SightFirst Campaign. Cheques were presented by club president Pat O’Sullivan at a function hosted by Ulster Bank in Carrigaline who were main sponsors of the Walk Event along with Coca Cola.
