Lions Christmas Appeal

On December 9th, 10th and 11th, Carrigaline & District Lions Club members will organise collection points at Barry Collins SuperValu and Dunnes Stores, Carrigaline for their annual Christmas Appeal. Shoppers are asked to buy an extra food item (like pasta, rice, tinned vegetables, sweets, savories and other not immediately perishable food) and then place it in the trolleys provided. With this food we make up hampers which are then given to charities like St. Vincent de Paul for distribution to needy families in the local area.
