Launch of BIG Walk For Cancer
A Big Walk for Cancer, being organised jointly by Carrigaline Lions Club and the Mercy Hospital Foundation, will take place on Sunday 13th of September 2009. The walk will start from the Owenabue Car Park in Carrigaline and will finish in the square in Crosshaven. Total distance is a mere 5 miles. The route will follow the beautiful Carrigaline to Crosshaven walkway, built on the old railway line with magnificent views of the Owenabue river. The walk is flat over the entire distance and is suitable for all ages. More details here.
