New Houses Ready For Occupation
Ten new houses for elderly citizens have recently been completed and are now ready for occupation. The houses have been built by Carrigaline & District Lions Club with the assistance of Cork County Council. The Lions Club is already operating six houses at Abbeyview in Carrigaline which are ocupied by elderly citizens. Each house is individually occupied and provides comfortable living accommodation within a short distance of Carrigaline village. Support and assistance can be provided for the residents if and when required but generally they live independently.
