Presentation of Cheques from 2008 Cycling Classic

Members of Carrigaline & District Lions Club recently presented cheques totalling €45,000 raised from the 2008 Cycle Classic to various charities at a reception held in the Carrigaline Court Hotel. The event was well attended by representatives of the charities involved and members of the Carrigaline Lions Club. Over the years, this event has raised almost €0.5 million for charity. A big thanks to all those who participated. Next years cycle from Carrigaline to Dungavan will take place on October 10th.
